Saving the lives of dogs in kill shelters in the state of Texas until there are no more, educating our community on the benefits of spay/neuter, finding positive alternatives for people needing to re home their pets and providing low cost training to our community. Our primary focus is on the Killeen/ Copperas Cove Area.More Paws 2 Love is a 501c3 all breed dog rescue located out of Bell County Texas. More Paws 2 Love rescues abused and neglected animals from local kill shelters in the state of Texas. We do not pull dogs based on breed we pull them based on their overall temperaments and urgency at the shelter. We are foster based meaning we do not have a central location but we are mostly out of Killeen, Texas. All our dogs live in loving and safe screened foster homes where they get the love and attention and vetting they so need and deserve. All our dogs are fed a good diet and learn basic training skills and good pack member skills while in their foster homes waiting for their forever homes. Our dogs are also fully vetted and given a clean bill of health by our licensed vet before being adopted out. We are always in need of donations of dog food and puppy food and our vet bills run high all the time, we appreciate any help from our community in order to continue to save the lives of urgent shelter dogs in the state of Texas. Any donation can make the difference in the life of a shelter dog.Here at More Paws 2 Love we also like to give back to our local shelters by holding donation drives for them as well as adoption events. We strive to work closely with our local shelters in order to get more animals adopted and into loving homes. Our currently available dogs will be adopted to approved adopters only. In order to be approved, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.morepaws2love.org. Our adoption process requires an in home visit and reference check. Once you have been approved, you will be invited to meet the dog(s) of your choice. Our adoption fee is typically $200. All our dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate shots flea and tick free, de wormed, heart worm tested, on heart guard, and micro chipped, and seen by our vet before coming home.
