HUSKERS HOPE DACHSHUND RESCUE
To rescue, rehabilitate and place displaced dachshunds from shelters, puppy mills and other sources into temporary foster homes, with the ultimate end being adoption; and, provide educational tools to the public regarding the benefits of spay/neuter, health care, nutrition, behavior needs of dachshunds and animals, in general, via website, public events and training. Also, to provide physical and cognitive therapies in a temporary to Permanent residence for dogs with severe brain trauma and IVDD in a Sanctuary Setting.
