Southwest Florida K9 Search Unit The Southwest Florida K9 Search Unit is a nonprofit team made up of highly trained volunteer support personnel K9 handlers trainers and their canines. Our purpose is to assist law enforcement agencies fire departments and emergency management services in a time of disaster or community need. Seeking New K9 Training Sites In our K9 training program we continuously seek new training sites scenarios and environments to expose our K9s and handlers to diverse challenges. We aim to navigate through all types of terrain and work on scent detection and behavior across various areas in Florida and beyond.
