Albuquerque's history is located behind the walls of this historic cemetery. We are a non-profit organization with the mission of keeping HFC history alive and the grounds maintained. 1881-2024 THE HISTORIC FAIRVIEW CEMETERY IS A CEMETERY LOCATED IN ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO WITH A LONG HISTORY OF INDIVIDUALS BURIED UPON ITS GROUNDS. FAIRVIEW INTENDS TO AFFORD THE COMMUNITY OF ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO THE OPPORTUNITY TO TOUR THE CEMETERY GROUNDS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES RELATING TO ALBUQUERQUE AND THE HISTORIC FAIRVIEW CEMETERY. THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO RESTORING AND PRESERVING THE CEMETERY WHERE OVER 11,000 MEMBERS OF THE ALBUQUERQUE COMMUNITY ARE BURIED AND BY DOING SO, EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON ALBUQUERQUE'S HISTORY AND HERITAGE.

Where Albuquerque’s Past Comes to Life | Historic Fairview Cemetery Historic Fairview Cemetery Where Albuquerques Past Comes to Life Historic Fairview Cemetery is the resting place of approximately 12000 members of the Albuquerque community. Twelve thousand unique life stories some memorialized some unmarked some wellknown others completely unknown but each contributing to the story of Albuquerque New Mexico and the United States. Many of the Citys early founders notable businessmen civic leaders and citizens are buried here. You can find stories and bios linked from The Community of Historic Fairview Cemetery Facebook page.
