Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy As the words of our charity demonstrate, Equus Medendi, (Equus, Latin for horse, Medendi, for healing) the basic mission is healing through Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy.Equus Medendi’s mission is to create an environment that uses horses and a team of Professionals to provide supplemental and alternative treatments to those that have experienced Trauma or are suffering from the invisible wounds of war as well as those who seek to improve their lives through experiential learning in a natural environment.The focus of Equus Medendi is to provide this alternative to those who have served and sacrificed for our country and our citizens.
