CHOOSE 180 transforms the lives of youth and young adults by partnering with institutional leaders, connecting them with community, empowering them with choice, and teaching them the skills necessary to avoid engagement with the criminal justice system.

We envision a future where systems are communityled harmful behavior is met with accountability and healing and youth from historically criminalized communities are thriving. Black students are 4x more likely to be suspended than their white peers. SPLC 1 out of every 3 black boys born today can expect to be sentenced to prison compared to 1 out 6 Latino boys 1 out of 17 white boys.
