Forever Official Redcoat Alumni Web Site RBAA 50th Anniversary YearLong Celebration The first Redcoat Alumni Band event was held on November 4 1974. On the 20th Anniversary of his tenure at UGA the then Director Roger Dancz introduced the concept in the February 1974 edition of the Redcoat Reflector describing in his updates the most exciting of which is the formation of an alumni band. Over 100 musicians and 30 twirlers from 1955 through 1974 responded and assembled on campus with less than 30 days notice describes Roger in the February 1975 Reflector newsletter.
