Nevada Senate Bill SB495 is proposing a dangerous shortcut — allowing on-the-job training as a path to become a Licensed Dental Hygienist. This bill would eliminate the required college education and board examinations we all worked so hard to complete. Sections 77-79 of SB495 undermine the standards we’ve upheld to protect patient safety and deliver the highest quality care. 🛑 We cannot let this happen.
