Who’s that Wednesday?! Did you know cougars are born with spots and bright blue eyes?? Their spots help camoflauge them a little better, while they’re young and vulnerable. Their blue eyes are due to lack of melanin as a kitten. When they reach about 6-8 months old, their spots slowly dwindle away, and their eyes change to a more amber or green color. Our handsome man Kai, is almost 2 years old so his spots are completely gone, but what a difference 2 years makes! (fb)

Zeke’s favorite thing to do, scent mark his keepers! Servals, among other cats, have scent glands on their chin, which they use by rubbing against objects and drooling on them. Servals use these glands, along with other methods, to mark their territory and for communication. Zeke does this with his keepers as a form of communication, showing trust and a good relationship. Sound up at the beginning and you can hear him meow ☺️ (fb)
