The Friends of the MS Achievement Center's mission is to enhance the qualityof life for people with progressed Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by supporting the MS Achievement Center at KU. We accomplish this by:Raising critical funds to ensure excellent staffing and programming of the MS Achievement Center Advocating for the needs of the MS Achievement Center and its membersEngaging passionate volunteers to support the MS Achievement Center through donations and volunteer serviceThe MS Achievement Center at KU provides a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation, psychological support, social activities and healtheducation for its members and their families. The program helps participants optimize their functionalability, move toward acceptance of their limitations, and take charge of theirown lives. Our goal is for our individuals with MS to live to their fullest potential.
