The CincinnatiEye Bank The mission of the Cincinnati Eye Bank is to provide donated human eye tissue for corneal transplantation research and teaching. When you enter a darkened place your first impulse is to turn on a light. For thousands of people with corneal blindness however the darkness remains. However modern surgical science has made it possible to restore sight through a corneal transplant.
