As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that healing from breast cancer is more than just physical. Survivors often carry invisible weight — anxiety, fear of recurrence, body image struggles, grief, etc. And those feelings don’t just disappear on June 1st. Mental health is part of survivorship. If you’re still processing, still unraveling emotions years later, you’re not alone, and you’re not doing it wrong. Your experience is valid. Let’s carry this awareness with us all year long. Keep checking in on your heart, just like you do your body.
