The CRE® Consulting Corps is in Saint Paul, MN, this week to provide advice on enhancing and improving White Bear Avenue as a commercial business corridor. The team is working with local stakeholders including the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® to address placemaking, integrate transit and safety improvements that are underway to promote walkability and connectivity, identify larger site redevelopment opportunities, and create an overall destination. Jonathan Avery, CRE (left) visited Traverse City, MI, last week in preparation for a CRE® Consulting Corps team visit in October to offer counsel on increasing that market's housing supply. Among the local stakeholders with which Jon met was Connor Miller (right), government affairs director of Aspire North REALTORS®. Through its Transforming Neighborhoods initiative, the National Association of REALTORS® is collaborating with the Counselor organization to provide analysis, strategies, and actionable recommendations to solve real estate challenges in partnership with local REALTOR® associations and key public and private stakeholders.
