Today's #WarriorWednesday is Cymeian! Thank you to Cymeian's mom for sharing their brave boy's story with us. "Cymeian was born on September 28, 2022, with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. In his short life, he has undergone five open-heart surgeries and relies on a G-tube for nutrition. He receives physical, occupational, and speech therapy to support his development. Currently, he is inpatient at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, listed as status 1A for a heart transplant that he urgently needs. Despite all he has been through, Cymeian is the happiest baby. He loves music, singing, and dancing—his joy is truly contagious. His strength and resilience inspire everyone who meets him. The ERHF has assisted our family with getting lodging for weekends when my older two kids come down. This last time it was a littler over a month since they last saw their baby brother in person. We were so graciously thankful for the time to have together. They have also assisted me with gas cards for commutes back home. Mrs Dossie always comes to visit us with a prayer and words of encouragement. She is always a joy to see and so passionate about the Lord's work. My son has overcome some scary obstacles. I'd say the biggest way I’ve seen God work is seeing Cymeian go from not being a candidate for a heart transplant and them telling us there was nothing more they could do for him, to Cymeian being listed status 1A six months later."
