Fulton Dekalb Hospital Authority
The Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority owns and operates Grady Health System. Grady is a safety-net hospital, which serves a unique population with a very high concentration of indigent/uninsured, Medicare and Medicaid patients. In addition, Grady Health System is a major academic medical center, partnering with Emory University and the Morehouse School of Medicine, for the training of student physicians. Statewide, approximately one-fourth of GA doctors are trained at Grady Health System.
