The AKA-LADE Foundation was established in 2006 as the philanthropic arm of the Lambda Alpha Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. AKA-LADE is a 501(c)(3) organization that works in partnership with Lambda Alpha Omega to provide programs and services that empower communities in need. AKA-LADE Foundation supports programs that enhance the health, welfare, economic and educational development of individuals and families; and promote appreciation for the arts.
