And now more than ever, our compassionate care embraces good health through primary and preventive care. We know that children are not small adults and that they come in all sizes, from tiny newborns to young adults. So our pediatric professionals plan their care with close attention to their special needs. Our goal is to provide the finest health care in a compassionate environment.

Home Meet the CHKD pediatricians surgeons and specialists who were chosen by their peers as being the best in their field and were named Top Docs by Virginia Business magazine. Thanks to a coordinated effort among our trauma team Parker Rose Outlaw made a remarkable recovery after complex spine surgery at CHKD. Senator Angelia Williams Graves recently visited the Nuss Center to officially declare December Chest Wall Deformity Awareness Month in the Commonwealth. On November 20 the CIVIC Leadership Institute presented the 2024 Corporate Darden Award to CHKD for its decades of leadership in improving the quality of life in Hampton Roads.
