I’m back in California. Mom is doing GREAT and will be discharged from rehab Monday. I drove mom’s car and doggie back. Arrived this afternoon. My brother is here from the Philippines to help mom transition to home(his job doesn’t allow for his face to be shown on social media). My son Slater joined us for dinner at the rehab facility this evening and I fly back tomorrow morning. (fb)

Ginger the come back kid. For several years we have struggled with her weight, her Cushings, her arthritis. So many times we thought it was time to make the call for euthanasia and then she would rally….but never really thrived. I don’t know what happened. We did nothing differently, but she has gone through and come out the other end of this winter better than ever. Her weight is great, she is getting around well, even playing, and her coat is shiny. Chestnut mares. They are something else. Full of surprises. ❤️ (fb)
