The People Project was created in 2021 as the renaming of The Huckleberry Foundation for families with special needs. TPP is a nonprofit foundation that provides financial assistance to families with children in need of therapy stemming from special needs, mental health issues and sexual abuse. We also do our best to aid local organizations that support special needs individuals. Our mission is to help these children and their families live life to the fullest. The People Project, formerly known as The Huckleberry Foundation was founded by Molly Russell, the mom of three precious little boys, one of which lives with autism. Her oldest son, who reminds this literature-loving mama of Huckleberry Finn, was diagnosed at the age of 4 with high-functioning autism. Molly and her husband qu
