Kenoshas National Treasure On The Shore of Lake Michigan On January 8 2003 The Southport Park Beach House was listed in theNational Trust for Historic Preservation National Register of Historic Places. Architect Chris Borggrens unique design combined a mix of classic and contemporary styles. The exterior blends Tudor Revival details with an overarching Mediterranean Revival theme. Repurposed marble was used to create the Art Deco ballroom featuring geometricornamentation common to the style.
