Foundation For Digestive Health and Nutrition Inc
The Foundation for Digestive Health and Nutrition (FDHN) is the foundation of the AGA. Incorporated in 2001, the mission of the Foundation is to provide funds for research and public education in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of digestive diseases. The Foundation's work benefits all professionals in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology, from researchers to clinicians in private practice, as well as patients afflicted with digestive diseases. The Foundation administers the disbursement of research grants on behalf of the AGA and other funders. To support these initiatives, the Foundation has an active fundraising program and works with volunteers to raise funds for digestive disease research and public education.
