Your child/teen will express themselves Founded in 2002, The Collective, Inc.was established to provide an environment for Baltimore's professional dancersand choreographers to work as a group, using each member's individual,distinctive voice to create and perform new works. Over the years, the corporationhas grown and matured to include many different art forms as well as youth artseducation. Although the organizational structure has changed, the spirit ofarts collaboration remains. As itexists today, The Collective, Inc. provides aworking environment for pre-professional and professional artists by creatingand performing new works in Maryland and the surrounding areas. This mission includes striving to increase artisticawareness in students and society through performances, workshops, and classes.The Collective, Inc. is also committed to the greater civic responsibility ofeducating, entertaining, enriching, and unifying its students and the diversepopulations of the surrounding communities through the arts.
