Our mission is to eradicate rural poverty in Western New York. We assist, empower, and elevate our Participants to self-sufficiency. Our mission is to assist, empower, and elevate the impoverished rural populations in Southern Erie County and the surrounding areas. We serve with compassion, empathy, and respect for all people. For children, our goal is to break the cycle of multi-generational poverty by providing counseling, play therapy, educational opportunities, and programs.

We're proud to share that The ROC's executive director, Dr. Frank Cerny, delivered the commencement address at the University at Buffalo's School of Public Health and Health Professions. He shared his experience not only as a researcher and professor but as a founder and leader of The ROC, encouraging graduates to use their degrees to transform the lives of others.
