Clayton's Lesson Claytons Lesson was conceived in November 2003 after the death of Clayton James Smith. Clayton was a seventeen year old senior at Oliver Springs High School in Oliver Springs Tennessee when he lost his life to an accidental drug overdose. Clayton wanted to become a teacher and on the day he passed away the staff and students at his High School themed his death a lesson a bittersweet lesson that drugs kill. Immediately after Claytons untimely passing his family and friends became active in the community speaking about antidrug awareness.
