The mission of United Way Liberia is to rebuild the social and economic structure of post-conflict Liberia, West Africa. Its aim is to bridge the digital divide and the economic gap that prohibits access to technology, education, and healthcare for underprivileged youth, children, and families in Liberia. Our objectives in Newark, New Jersey are to increase self-esteems, confidence, moral values, and to promote an overall positive attitude towards education; to promote and provide a mean of achieving academic and social excellence amongst its participants in Newark.
