As board members we reflect on the valuable role libraries and librarians have in strengthening our communities. The Rapid City Public Library will be promoting the upcoming bookmobile and the unparalleled access to library services it will bring throughout the community where people live shop and gather. While the library offers extensive services digitally librarians reaching and serving the community outside of the building is fulfilling one of the librarys missions and will be commemorated during this time. A Pew Research poll showed that over 90 of Americans agree that libraries enhance the wellbeing of their communities with access to education and valuable resources.
