@UF's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences UF/IFAS develops knowledge relevant to Florida's agricultural, human and natural resources. The Florida 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach and caring adults to help youth gain the knowledge and life skills they need to be productive, responsible citizens. To achieve its mission, 4-H accesses the expertise and resources of the University of Florida and a nationwide network of Cooperative Extension Service faculty and staff. The mission of the Pinellas 4-H Association is to support the Pinellas 4-H program financially and by advising and advocating for Pinellas 4-H in support of the above mission. This is achieved by fundraising and regular board meetings.
