Shoestring Family Theatre Inc

The specific mission of Shoestring Family Theatre is to promote interest, training, and participation in community performing arts activities for people of all ages and stages in a caring, supportive environment. Children and adults work together to produce a single musical stage production each year. Training consists of dance, vocal music, stage movement, spoken communication development, etc. as part of the rehearsal and production process. All who demonstrate their desire to participate by completing an audition are cast in an age-appropriate role. As the only consistently intergenerational theatre program in Santa Clara County, children and adults rehearse music, dance, and staging together, learning to interact more effectively and to be part of a team.
