What is workforce housing? It’s affordable housing for the people whose jobs keep our communities going: teachers, EMTs, grocery clerks, hospitality workers, and more. But here’s the challenge: Many of these essential workers can’t afford to live in the communities they serve. Workforce housing provides safe, affordable options for people earning moderate incomes - those who work hard but are often priced out.
