🎣 Wishing Mike Hoffman the Best in Retirement + Welcoming Valerie Davidson! 🌟 After years of dedicated leadership, our beloved Executive Director Mike Hoffman is retiring this summer. Mike’s steady guidance, deep community commitment, and good humor have shaped Yuut’s mission and impact in countless ways. We’ll miss him greatly—but we hope he enjoys every minute of his well-earned retirement, especially out on the water catching all the fish! 🐟🌞 At the same time, we’re incredibly excited to welcome Valerie Davidson as our incoming Executive Director this July! Val is returning home to Bethel after nearly two decades in Anchorage, where she’s worn many impressive hats—including Health & Human Services Commissioner, Lt. Governor, President of Alaska Pacific University, and Executive Director of ANTHC. She says she’s finally ready for an important job—so she’s coming to Yuut. 😄 We couldn’t be more honored to have her join our team and lead us into the future.
