Rutherford LEAP's mission is to provide public school students in Rutherford County with the ability to become technologically advanced learners through the consistent, innovative use of a one-to-one laptop program enabling them to "leap" forward into the 21st century.Essential skills gained by students in the program are: Internet research, spreadsheets, word processing and presentation skills. Mastery of these skills will enable the students to be competitive in today's work force and will prepare them for higher education.
