Calm, affectionate, and easygoing, Luca is a couch potato at heart with a love for peaceful companionship and a soft spot for fuzzy blankets, yak cheese, and sunny naps. He’s friendly, mellow, and enjoys being near his people without being needy. Luca gets along well with his foster brother but would also thrive as a solo dog soaking up all the love. He’s not into rough play or chaos—just cozy snuggles, calm energy, and slow-paced days filled with love. This sweet, happy boy is adjusting wonderfully to home life and has the biggest heart packed into his sturdy little body! With his “bull in a China shop” personality, Chubs barrels into life headfirst, exploring everything with enthusiasm (and occasionally knocking over a tray table or a plant in the process). Chubs has a puppy-like spirit — he loves to jump, chew, and play, and he’s learning the household rules more and more each day. He’s a great listener when it comes to redirection and thrives with patient guidance. His favorite activities include hanging outside with his family, playing keep-away with his Boston Terrier foster sister, picking out the perfect bone, and — most of all — napping! Soft beds, couches, blankets, or even the bare floor will do just fine for this nap king. A true shadow dog, Chubs adores following his people around and melts into their arms when picked up (watch out — at 28 pounds, he’s a deceptively heavy little guy!). He’s wonderful with other calm, gentle dogs and would also do great with dog-savvy, respectful kids of any age. Chubs is easygoing, snuggly, and full of love, and he’s looking for a calm, cozy forever home where he can be cherished and spoiled.
