Sometimes the CopperDog mission and intent can spill over into other [crazy] opportunities... because there is no such thing as the off season! The Crusher, a gravel [pedal] biking event from the 906 Adventure Team, will be coming back to the Keweenaw this July with three Mass Start (MS) races doing a Copper Harbor to Copper Harbor loop; MS175, MS100, & MS40. And they will even have a P2P (point-to-point) "ride" that will also finish in the Harbor! How long? Ah, only 500 miles! Where will it start? That's a secret for now!!! And so our Chief Timer, Board Member, and Assistant Race Director Kiko jumped on the chance to help out with the course(s) and checkpoints in a way that makes it all happen in a fashion that follows the CopperDog mantra of respect, inclusion, and education. As the season is taking it's time to wind-down, we just wanted to let you know that our musher survey had 75 responses with 54 individuals making great and insightfull comments about the sport, our race, and what works [and does not work] for them! We would like to not only say thank you but most importantly let all y'all know we will have surprises for 2026! 🤣 But you already knew that!!
