Buddy loves to play fetch chase but is very calm in the house. He's house trained crate trained, a good leash walker, and car rider. He's currently living with small medium and large dogs, and likes to play with them, but he needs a rough and tumble player In his forever home he would do best with a rough and tumble playmate. He is very shy initially with new people (men more than women) and will need a family that will give him time to adjust and when he does you'll have a very affectionate boy. Buddy would do fine as an only dog, without any cats due to his high prey drive. He tends to get anxious around children, so he needs a quieter home with no children. Although he LOVES to go for a walk he's not currently confident enough to go to high traffic areas and wouldn't enjoy dog friendly bars/restaurants etc. Consider Buddy a home body who enjoys a walk in his neighborhood. He is a high flight risk dog and will need a fenced yard to make sure he's safe. . Buddy had a rough start in life and he continues to work on overcoming his fears he just needs a family that will continue his journey to become a confident boy.
