The Rushmore Music Festival offers student fellowship programs and a chamber music concert series. The Rushmore Music Festival shall enrich the cultural life of the Black Hills area through a series of audience engaging chamber music concerts and provide music education for students of all levels through summer camp programs that foster communication, connection, and collaboration.

Rushmore Music Festival 11th SeasonJune 18 July 31 2025 Opportunities of a lifetime begin with a FullTuition Scholarship for every accepted student. Our Focus Solo Two 1hour private lessons per week Three hours of prescheduled individual practice time each day Chamber Music Two 1hour coachings per week 1. 5 hours of prescheduled studentled rehearsals each day Conductorless Chamber Orchestra Two 2hour rehearsals per week Audience Engagement Curriculum Four 1hr classes per week in Improvisation Stage Presence Public Speaking Performance Training Drama Painting Dance etc. Competitions Awards Outstanding Musicianship Award performance with Faculty on a future season Solo Competition winner performs with orchestra on final concert Annual Chamber Music Competition special concert appearances and prizes Rushmore Concert Artists Series Each week students attend exhilarating chamber music concerts performed by the Rushmore Concert Artists the faculty performing collective.
