Association of Leadership Programs
Through recognizing excellence, fostering innovation, sharing best practices, building networks, educational training and development, we advance the effectiveness of community leadership programs and professionals. ALP's primary purpose is to provide educational training for community leadership staff and professionals. Community leadership programs/organizations average three full time staff, including the manager and programmer. Leadership organizations/programs average 30 participants each year and have multiple program offerings benefitting an average of 500-800 participants annually. The majority of which expand 9-10 months of training and education. Participants learn leadership skills, tackle tough issues in their communities, and become better prepared to enhance the effectiveness of their communities.
