Association for the Education of Young Children-Missouri (MOAEYC)

The Association for the Education of Young Children-Missouri, abbreviated as MOAEYC, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting early childhood education professionals across Missouri. As a state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), MOAEYC works to ensure high-quality early learning experiences for children from birth through age eight.

Mission and Goals

MOAEYC's mission is to promote high-quality learning for all young children by connecting practice, policy, and research. The organization strives to advance a diverse and dynamic early childhood profession, supporting educators, caregivers, and advocates who work on behalf of young children.

Structure and Chapters

MOAEYC has various local chapters, including those in Greater Kansas City, Jefferson County, Lexington, Mid-Missouri, Rolla, St. Joseph, and St. Louis, as well as a virtual Leadership Chapter and a student chapter at the University of Central Missouri.
