Mission Statement: Our Mission is to Preserve and Promote the rich history of Pine Castle and pursue economic vibrancy through visitor engagement, building community, education and publications.Because so much of the early history of Orange County originated in what is now called "Historic Pine Castle" our mission to restore, preserve and present its long and important history is vital to the overall history of Orange County. We are doing this through:the publications of books and pamphlets, the restoration of the Crawford House to show what country life was like in Orange County 100 years ago, the development of a hometown history center for South Orange County, the Pine Castle History Museum,interactive video presentations on important people, places and events,programs and classes focusing on traditional music, crafts and folkways,programs and classes focusing on Florida's Hispanic history,outreach to both residents and visitors, adults and children.
