The mission of ASSIST is to officially advocate for and represent applicants with severe disabilities who are eligible for SSI and SSD benefits. ASSIST guides clients through all levels of the Federal Administrative claims review process. ASSIST is a revenue-generating service for its clients and a key element in the fight to end homelessness. ASSIST’s services, both guiding clients through the application process and educating other service providers on the process, benefit clients and the community.

We work with people who areoften homeless andor living in poverty assisting them in getting their Social Security benefits. Our individual application representation is different than most others as we are extremely proactive. Early claim intervention is the key to developing a thoroughly documented application that will dramatically increase the chances of a favorable decision at the earliest stage of the process.
