We've been asked by Lincoln Parks and Rec to share the following statement with our Dog Run Friends here in Lincoln. "We've recently had individuals filling holes at some of the Lincoln dog runs with synthetic materials like kitty litter. Please don’t try to solve the problem on your own. This is considered illegal dumping. Remember you can always use the UPLNK app or visit uplnk.lincoln.ne.gov to report any maintenance issues at the dog runs. If you see illegal dumping occurring in the dog runs, please share this information with the fellow park attendee. Thank you!" (fb)

Public Service Announcement - It has recently been brought to our attention that some folks have been seen dropping their dogs off at some of the Lincoln Dog Runs and leaving them unattended in the run while they leave to do something and return later to pick them up. This is not okay! If you see someone doing this, please notify Animal Control immediately. Their phone number is 402.441.7900. Dogs left unattended in the runs will be treated exactly as any stray dog would and a ticket will be issued to the owner. If this is a practice you have adopted, please stop doing it immediately.
