Piedmont Triad Partnership The Piedmont Triad Partnership is the economic development organization that markets the 12county region as a worldclass business location. One of the Triads greatest strengths is its labor force which is highly skilled in traditional manufacturing. The regions labor force is productive and resilient having made the transition to advanced manufacturing in a variety of industries including advanced materials aviation and life sciences. FedEx operates two major hubs in the center of the Piedmont Triad A 1000000 sq ft MidAtlantic Air Hub at the Piedmont Triad International Airport and a 400000 sq ft Ground Hub in Kernersville.
