New Jersey State Firemens Association
The primary exempt purpose of the Palisades Park Firemen's Relief Association is to provide financial relief to active and retired members of the Palisades Park Volunteer Fire Department. The relief is provided to those members and their families who file an application for such assistance and demonstrate the need for relief. In addition, the State Association pays a death benefit to eligible member's estate upon their death. The money from the organization is derived from the New Jersey State Firemen's Association, which in turn receives funds from a levy on all fire insurance premiums written by insurance companies chartered outside the State of New Jersey.
