The Mission StatementPromote sound ecological practices in the Ozarks. The Ozarks Resource Center a 501c3 notforprofit was formed in 1978 and serves as anotforprofit fiscal umbrella for projects that further its mission. The organizations purpose isto provide research education technical assistance and dissemination of informationon appropriate technology that is sustainable environmentallyresponsible and based on renewable resources. Also to be promoted are economic and agricultural strategies that foster bioregional selfreliance for the family farm community the Ozarks and other bioregions.
