Hope of Winston Salem Inc
H.O.P.E. of W-S is dedicated to making healthy food/produce accessible to food insecure children. H.O.P.E. of Winston-Salem works at the intersection of children's health and food insecurity. We are dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children at risk of hunger and fresh produce to adults residing in food-insecure households. This is to be accomplished through community-wide volunteer support, partnerships with the business, faith and education communities and collaboration with peer nonprofit organizations. Distribution of meals and fresh produce are done on a weekly basis at 29 different distribution sites throughout Winston-Salem.
