Birthright is a non-profit organization that provides caring, non-judgmental support to girls and women facing an unplanned pregnancy. "It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth, and the right of every child to be born." Birthright provides caring, non-judgmental support to girls and women distressed by an unplanned or problem pregnancy. Using our own resources and those of the community, Birthright provides positive and loving alternatives to abortion. We provide friendship and emotional support, free pregnancy tests, as well as maternity and baby clothes, health care items and provide information and referrals for medical, financial and housing needs. Birthright services are free, confidential and available to any woman regardless of age, race, creed, economic or marital status. We serve anyone in need, both the birth mom, child, and birth father. We are located in downtown Columbia, SC.
