WAYZATA SAILING FOUNDATION
The mission of the Wayzata Sailing Foundation is to increase access to the lake and the environment through sailing education by a supportive and whole life focused community. Offerings for all ages and abilities including adaptive and outreach oriented experiences. The foundation undertakes fund raising to support scholarship opportunities, capital improvements including buildings and equipment, and to subsidize operations to keep classes affordably priced.

JOIN US ON THE LAKE About our COMMUNITY SAILING CENTER Since our humble beginnings in 1981 we39ve become a true community center that prioritizes access and understanding of Lake Minnetonka through the sport of sailing. Since then we39ve grown from a small group of families to over 1200 yearly participants from 61 cities in Minnesota alone. Our adaptive outreach and community partnerships ensure that everyone has not only access to try sailing but to continue sailing on Minnesota39s greatest resource.
