Vestal Dollars for Scholars® is a volunteer-operated scholarship organization with tax-exempt status - affiliated with Scholarship America® - that was established in October 1990 with the sole purpose of awarding scholarships to graduating seniors of varying abilities who reside within the boundaries of the Vestal Central School District. Our goals to increase the number of students receiving scholarships to increase the scholarship monies available to students who reside in the Vestal Central School District to assist students of varied abilities with scholarship dollars to give hope and encouragement to students

As part of Scholarship Americanational network of locally based volunteerdriven Dollars for Scholars chapters our mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary education success for our students. The Vestal Dollars for Scholars chapter is here to help hometown students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds establishing endowments providing assistance withcollege readiness and the financial aid process and distributing scholarships each year. This website provides resources from our local Vestal chapter for our donors volunteers and students.
