The Savannah Jewish Federation is devastated by the senseless murder of two Israeli embassy staff members in Washington, D.C. last night. We condemn this horrific act in the strongest possible terms and mourn the loss of innocent lives targeted simply because of who they were. Antisemitism is not just a threat to the Jewish community—it is a threat to us all. We call on every individual and institution to stand united against hate in all its forms. We are also deeply grateful to the Savannah Police Department and the Secure Community Network for their steadfast partnership and continued efforts to ensure the safety and security of our Jewish community here at home.
