VLAC’s twofold mission is: 1. Supporting social activities through scholarships, training classes and humanitarian aids to all communities; 2. Enriching Vietnamese-American culture through seminars and cultural events. To serve youth and senior citizens in the Washington Metro Communities by promoting Literacy, Artistic, Society, & Education. To preserve Vietnamese cultures, traditions, and spirit and support American communities. These include feeding the homeless, organizing fundraising for natural disaster victims, organizing after-school homework assistance, hosting cultural events, and providing support and resources that help senior people stay active, happy, and healthy.

ArtsFairfax is the nonprofit designated as Fairfax Countys local arts agency to support local arts and culture nonprofits like VLAC to make Fairfax County the City of Fairfax and the City of Falls Church a more vibrant place to live. We cannot wait to utilize this grant in our upcoming cultural programs. Thank you to ArtsFairfax for your support.
