We seek to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Seeking to put God's love into action, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Through the Affordable Homeownership Program, GCHFH builds brand-new homes and sells them at fair market value to low-moderate-income homebuyers. GCHFH works to subsidize the mortgage to an affordable amount based on the buyer's income. While in the program, partner families are required to complete 350 hours of "sweat equity" by volunteering on the construction site and taking financial education workshops so they are fully prepared to be responsible, successful homeowners. GCHFH continues to work towards its mission to make sure everyone has a decent and safe place families can call home.
